Duarte Gouveia

My career focus on the application of mass spectrometry for studying the proteome of living systems in different scientific contexts. During my PhD and postdoc experiences I used proteomics to help elucidating the molecular mechanisms through which environmental pollutants exert their toxicity towards aquatic biota. More recently, at Evotec, my research focus lies around the use of large-scale proteomics studies for the high-throughput screening and validation of new drug targets in oncology.
