Doris Keh Ting Ng

Doris K. T. Ng received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2008. She joined the Data Storage Institute, A*STAR, in 2007 as a Research Engineer. She is currently a Scientist III. Her research interests include electronic-photonic integration, HAMR and nonlinear optics. In 2013, she led the process acceptance to set up A*STAR SnFPC Initiative at DSI. Her key achievements include high-efficiency heterogeneous Si/III-V integration with short optical vertical interconnect access, a one-step direct deposition of ultra-smooth metal film for nanoplasmonic applications, and development of silicon rich nitride material for nonlinear optics.
