Dong-Joo Cheon

Dong-Joo (Ellen) Cheon, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at Albany Medical College. Dr. Cheon earned her B.A. and M.S. from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. from the U.T. M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She received her postdoctoral training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Cheon' s research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying ovarian cancer metastasis and chemoresistance, especially in the context of tumor-stroma interactions.
