Dimitrios G. Kogias

Dimitrios G. Kogias was born in Athens, Greece, in 1978. He works as an Adjunct Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of West Attica, Aigaleo, Greece. He has participated as a Senior Researcher in various research projects (e.g., most recently on TRILLION and STORM at HORIZON 2020) funded by the National and/or European resources. His works have been published in international journals and conferences, while he has also coauthored scientific book chapters. His current research interests include blockchain technology, cloud integration, security in the Internet of things, machine-to-machine communications, and privacy issues in these environments. He received the Diploma in physics, the M.Sc. degree in electronics, and the Ph.D. degree on algorithms for dissemination of information in unstructured networking environments, all from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in 2001, 2004, and 2010, respectively.
