Dimitra Tzani holds a Bachelor (B.Sc.) and a Master (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in Energy Engineering, from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is currently working as a Research Associate at the Institute of European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP) and the Technoeconomics of Energy Systems laboratory (TEESlab) of the University of Piraeus Research Center (UPRC). She is participating in the EC-funded projects "SENSEI”, "SOCIALWATT”, "DigiBUILD" and "Fortesie”. She is also a PhD candidate and Teaching Assistant at the University of Piraeus, teaching Energy and Climate Policy. Her research profile focuses on energy and climate policy assessment, energy demand and management modelling, and the design of innovative financing schemes and business models. She has a computational research background and knowledge of different programming languages and engineering software.
