Hammoud Dima A

Dima A. Hammond attended college at the American University of Beirut, where she earned a B.S. in biology in 1992 and an M.D. in 1996. After completing a residency in diagnostic radiology at the American University of Beirut-Medical Center, she joined the division of neuroradiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital as a fellow. After completion of a two-year fellowship in neuroradiology, she joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins as an assistant professor. Her research interests involve brain tumor imaging, using PET in CNS applications and in oncology. Other research interests involve using MR spectroscopy and other MR-based techniques to characterize brain tumors.
