Denise Hien

I am a socio-anthropologist specialising in gender studies and community health. My previous work has focused on gender and kinship relations. My recent research has focused on malaria and diarrhoeal diseases with a focus on community perceptions. Successful health interventions are the result of strong community engagement. I work in a multidisciplinary team and one of my responsibilities is to engage communities through various activities.
