Deivid Batistão received his B.S. in Medical Laboratory Scientist (Qualification in Clinical Pathology) from University of Uberaba (2008) and his M.S. (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) in Applied Immunology and Parasitology from Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU, 2014) with collaborative period at University of Minho (Center of Biological Engineering, Biofilm Research Group, 2012-2013). He completed postdoctoral studies in host-pathogen interaction at UFU. Since 2015 he works as Adjunct Professor of Immunology, Parasitology and Microbiology at Faculty of Medicine/UFU (FAMED/UFU). Effective member of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Analyses (SBAC) and Conselho Regional de Biomedicina 3a região (CRBM3 15879) with recognized qualification in Immunology, Parasitology, Microbiology and Clinical Pathology. He is a researcher in the area of Infectious Diseases, Molecular Microbiology, Clinical Pathology, acting mainly in the themes: Health care-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance, Molecular epidemiology of Infectious diseases, host and pathogen interaction, Clinical and Translational Microbiology.
