Bio
Debora Rosana Ribeiro Penido (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Brazil, in 1978. She received the Degree in electrical engineer and the M.Sc. degree from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Juiz de Fora, Brazil, in 2002 and 2004, repectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2008. From 2003 to 2009, she was with Transmission Department, Electrical Studies Division, Brazilian Electrical Company-ELETROBRAS, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since 2009, she has been with Electrical Engineering Department, Federal University of Juiz de Fora. Her research interests include models and analytical tools for distribution systems analysis, and planning of transmission systems.
