Debora Koatz

Débora Koatz is a researcher at Avedis Donabedian Research Institute (FAD) – Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since 2010. She has over 15 years of experience in information technologies and e-learning. She has specialized training in social welfare and social services management, and quality assessment and improvement. She has extensive experience in the field of online training, specially for health and social care professionals. She is the coordinator of the Master's and Postgraduate degree in Management and methodology of quality and safety in health care at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and is an instructional and content designer for e-learning courses and virtual communities of practice. In addition, she is a researcher in various national and international projects and belongs to the Research Network on Chronicity, Primary Care and Health Promotion (RICAPPS-RICORS, RD21/0016/0028). He has collaborated in national and international research projects related to mental health, the empowerment of people with chronic diseases, among others. She has developed projects for the implementation and evaluation of gender policies at municipal and regional level; she has collaborated in projects related to social vulnerability and mental health. She is the author of courses, publications and scientific articles, and a speaker at international conferences. She is a trainer of the IPS (Individual Placement Support) model for improving the labor integration of people with mental health disorders and addictions for Spain and Latin America. Postgraduate degrees and courses in Knowledge Management and E-learning (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) and Gamification (University of Pennsilvania). Master's degree in Social Welfare and Social Services Management (University of Alcalá, Madrid). Master’s degree in Management and Methodology of Healthcare Quality (Autonomous University of Barcelona).
