Bio
Riccardo De Angelis received the degree in physics from the University of Rome, Rome, Italy, in 1975.
He is a Researcher at Frascati ENEA Laboratories. His main experience is in plasma physics and plasma diagnostics. He has worked on laser produced plasmas especially on the development of diagnostics in coherent light of irradiated targets. He has taken part in experiments on magnetic confined plasmas: reversed field pinches and tokamaks FT, FTU. He has also participated in experimental campaigns on the tokamaks ASDEX and JET. His main areas of interest in this field are the study of hydrogen recycling, the numerical simulation of the transport of impurities, and the spectroscopic analysis of plasma radiation. He is presently in charge of the development of a diagnostic neutral beam and of the motional stark effect and charge exchange diagnostics in FTU.
