Davide D'Aria

Davide D'Aria was born in Bergamo, Italy, on November 12, 1975. He graduated in telecommunications engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2000, with a thesis on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry. In 2002, he joined the SAR processing group within the Electronic and Information Department, Politecnico di Milano, where he worked on SAR focusing techniques, SAR-SPOT superresolution algorithm definition, and bistatic SAR processing. He is the cofounder and CEO of ARESYS, Milan, a Politecnico di Milano spin-off company, founded in 2003, working on advanced radar and seismic remote sensing systems. At Aresys, he is currently coordinating several European Space Agency projects focused on SAR mission design and data processing. He has coauthored several national and international scientific publications. His current research interests include advanced spaceborne and ground-based SAR systems.
