个人简介
David Reeping (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in engineering education (with a mathematics minor) from Ohio Northern University, Ada, OH, USA, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering education from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA, in 2019.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Associate with the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Virginia Tech. In his role, he assists with the department’s Revolutionizing Engineering Department’s grant and teaches a new course called Introduction to ECE Concepts. His main research interests include transfer student information asymmetries, threshold concepts in electrical and computer engineering, agent-based modeling of educational systems, and advancing quantitative and fully integrated mixed methods.
Dr. Reeping’s recent awards and honors include a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and his Ph.D.-granting department’s Outstanding Dissertation Award.
