David Pedreira

My research is mainly focused in the study of orogenic cycles (pre-orogenic lithospheric extension and mountain building processes), especially in the Pyrenean-Cantabrian Mountain Belt. In these studies, I followed multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, integrating geological and geophysical observations from a wide variety of sources and methodologies. Since 2013, I also participated in structural and tectono-metamorphic studies on the Paleozoic orogenies in the Andes.
