David Ortega

David Ortega received the Licentiate degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Universidad Pais Vasco of Bilbao, Bilbao, Spain, in 2004. From 2004 to April 2010, he was a Development Engineer with the Traction Department, Ingeteam, Zamudio, Spain. He then joined Euskotren, Bilbao, as a Rolling Stock Maintenance Engineer. In December 2010, he rejoined the Traction Department, Ingeteam, where he is currently the Technology Coordination Manager. His research interests include rolling stock architectures, electromagnetic compatibility, noise, efficiency, high-power converters for traction, and energy recovery systems.
