David R. Gallagher is Co-Lead of the SuperCRC.com bid at the RoZetta Institute, and is a Professor of Finance at Bond University. His research expertise spans the institutional investing, portfolio management, superannuation, and capital markets domains. Dr Gallagher formerly held roles as the CEO of the Commonwealth and NSW Government's $41 million Centre of Excellence in International Finance and Regulation (CIFR), and as a Professor at the UNSW Business School. He was a research director at the Capital Markets CRC Limited 2009-2019. His career has included a visiting professor role at The University of Texas at Austin and a visiting scholar role at the Investment Company Institute in Washington DC. Prior to academia he was a Financial Analyst at Towers Perrin Inc. (now Willis Towers Watson) in the Asset Consulting division. Dr Gallagher is actively engaged in public policy, financial media, and has consulted widely to both industry and Government.
