Darren E. Holland

Darren Holland is a Research Assistant Professor of Engineering Physics at AFIT. He received his B.S. from Cedarville University (CU) and M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Darren taught various mechanical engineering courses to undergraduate students at CU. During this time, his senior design students designed, analyzed, and improved appropriate technology applications, personal defense weapon designs, and aerodynamic car designs. His research focuses on optimizing radiation transport in complex geometries and developing models and simulations to analyze radiative and thermal effects in space.
