Darío uses data from multiple British cohort studies to study social and generational inequalities in mental health outcomes at the population level. His work has documented multiple social inequalities in mental health with the COVID-19 pandemic, by analysing social and generational inequalities in mental health during the pandemic, inequalities across men and women in the impact of the pandemic on the long-term trajectories of mental health, and providing inclusive sociodemographic mappings of mental health outcomes that acknowledge the intersectional complexity in the underlying inequalities.
