Danielle F Wurzel

Dr Danielle Wurzel is a Paediatric Respiratory Physician at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and Post-doctoral Researcher at the School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne (UoM) and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI). She has clinical expertise in the assessment and management of acute and chronic respiratory diseases in children. Dr Wurzel has completed a PhD in protracted bacterial bronchitis (PBB) and bronchiectasis. Dr Wurzel’s post-doc research studies investigate the role of early life respiratory infections in the pathogenesis of chronic lung diseases including asthma and bronchiectasis.
