Daniele Aprile

Daniele Aprile was born in Rome, Italy, in 1987. He graduated in aerospace engineering with the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2012, and received the Ph.D. degree in fusion science and engineering with the University of Padua, Padua, Italy, in 2016. Since 2013, he has been carrying out his research activity at Consorzio RFX, Padova, while collaborating as a Lecturer with the University of Padua. Since 2016, his research grant comes from INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics). He has authored or coauthored over 30 publications in the field of fusion science and electromagnetic modeling. His main research topics are neutral beam injectors for nuclear fusion, ion accelerators, electric thrusters, numerical modeling of electromagnetic fields, and particle tracing.
