Daniel Truong

Daniel Truong received the Senior Technician degree in aeronautical maintenance from the Institut Aéronautique Amaury de la Grange (IAAG), Morbecque, in 1991. He was with the Institut AéroTechnique (IAT), Saint-Cyr-l’École, France, where he was involved in studies of planes in a supersonic wind tunnel during 15 years, subsidiary of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), Paris, France. In 2006, he joined the CNAM’s National Institute of Metrology, where he was in charge of the mechanical engineering of the cryostats and acoustic thermometers used for the redefinition of Boltzmann’s constant. In 2013, he joined the Dimensional Department of the joint Laboratory LNE-CNAM. His current research interests include the mechanical engineering of long-range telemeters and indoor positioning systems by telemetry.
