Daniel McInerney

Daniel McInerney received the M.Sc. degree in geo-information science from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, U.K., and the Ph.D. degree from the University College Dublin, Ireland, in optical remote sensing applied to forest monitoring. He is a research scientist at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnment, Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique in France. He was previously a research fellow at the Institute for Environment and Sustainability at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. Prior to joining the EC-JRC, Daniel was a researcher at Urban Institute Ireland and University College Dublin and at Forest Research, Edinburgh, Scotland. His research interests include remote sensing applied to forest monitoring and mapping, geo-information systems and web processing services.
