Daniel Ebler

Daniel Ebler received the M.Sc. degree in physics from ETH Zurich in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Hong Kong, in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Senior Research Associate with the Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China. Since 2020, he has been the Group Leader with the Theory Laboratory and the 2012 Laboratories, Huawei Technology Company Ltd., Hong Kong, SAR. His research interests include quantum computing and physical dynamical systems for optimization problems. His most recognized works are information-theoretic analyses of the quantum switch and resource-theoretic descriptions of indefinite causal processes. The former results have been demonstrated experimentally.
