Considered as a spiritual father of ''Precision Livestock Monitoring'' with worldwide impact in the field by management and leadership in a strong research team, co-developed 17 products for the world market, co-founded 2 spin-off companies (BioRICS NV and Soundtalks NV), inventor in 20 patents and co-published over 320 scientific journal publications and over 450 conference papers, member of over 60 Ph D juries in 14 countries, member of several international visitation committees. Member of the Research Council of the World Farmers Organization (representing 1 billion farmers in 191 countries).
