Dan Kilper

Dan Kilper (Co-Chair) is Professor of Future Communication Networks and Director of the SFI CONNECT Centre. He holds an adjunct faculty appointment at the Columbia University Data Science Institute and the College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona. He received a PhD in Physics from the University of Michigan in 1996 and started his career at Bell Labs as a Member of Technical Staff. He is a co-founder of Palo Verde Networks, Inc. and serves as the Green Internet and Service Provisioning topical area editor for the IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking journal. He holds thirteen patents and authored six book chapters and more than one hundred sixty peer-reviewed publications.
