Damien Jourdain currently works at the Unite Mixte de Recherche Gestion de l'Eau, Acteurs et Usages (G-EAU), Cirad - La recherche agronomique pour le developpement. Damien does research in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics. He is interested in the policy and institutional changes that would favour the adoption by small farm holders of more sustainable practices. This involves a better understanding of farmers choices (through modeling and/or choice experiments), and more recently on the economic evaluation of the natural resources that would be preserved under conservation agriculture.
