Bio
My field of research is accelerator physics, study of motion and manipulation of relativistic charged beams and their interactions in particle accelerators. I am currently working on the beam physics issues for the SuperKEKB project at KEK, Tsukuba, Japan. This accelerator is being upgraded from the KEKB electron-positron collider, targeting the luminosity of 40 times higher than that achieved at KEKB. With this high luminosity, the SuperKEKB promises to be an essential tool for discovery of new physics beyond Standard Model. I am also interested in beam physics at light sources such as FEL and ERL, and at proton machines such as spallation neutron sources.
