She has 30 years of experience in individual, couple and family psychotherapy with patients with chronic illnesses including cancer and severe mental illness. Her research interests include the use of mixed methods to study the effect of cancer on sexual health and the development, testing and dissemination of interventions that promote sexual recovery after cancer treatment.
