David P. Hinson

David Hinson is a Principal Investigator at the SETI Institute. He is an expert on radio occultation sounding of planetary atmospheres, and he has participated in radio occultation experiments conducted throughout the solar system by Voyagers 1 and 2, Galileo, Magellan, and Mars Global Surveyor. He is currently a member of the Radio Science Teams on Mars Express and New Horizons. His most recent research focuses on the weather and climate of Mars. He has authored or coauthored more than 50 journal articles.
