Her research is largely focused on women’s health. Dr. Money’s impressive research contributions in the field and her important position at BC Women’s Hospital and Help Centre have allowed her to become a leader in the field. In the last 10 years, she has led the Canadian efforts in women-focused personalized medicine in the area of understanding the vaginal microbiome in health and disease. For the past 20 years she has led the direct clinical care and provincial surveillance program for HIV-positive pregnant women as part of the only fully multidisciplinary clinic for women and families living with HIV in Canada. She has also been actively involved in the development and maintenance of a national surveillance system for mother-infant pairs in Canada.
