Daniel L. Flowers

Daniel L. Flowers received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Davis, in 1996, 1997, and 2001, respectively. He is currently a Mechanical Engineer with the Energy Conversion and Storage Group, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), Livermore, CA. His work focuses on experimental and analytical research in thermal sciences and combustion. He has been working in the area of homogeneous-charge-compression-ignition (HCCI) engine combustion since joining LLNL in 1998, where he also lead several combustion research projects in the areas of HCCI and hydrogen and diesel combustion.
