Delphine Destoumieux-Garzon

As a research unit, IHPE studies the mechanisms, evolution and ecosystem dynamics leading to the occurrence of infectious agents, as well as their dissemination and extinction in natural habitats and hosts. My own research focuses on infectious disease emergence in marine environments. I study: (i) Vibrio adaptation to oyster as a host, including resistance to antimicrobials; (ii) transmissible cancers in mussels; (iii) antimicrobial resistance in marine environments.
