Domenico Coviello was born in Tricarico, Italy, in 1985. He received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering and the M.Sc. degree in nanotechnology engineering from Università di Roma La Sapienza, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. In 2013, he joined the PoliCom Laboratory, Politecnico di Milano, with a scholarship of the National Research Council and after as a Ph.D. Student. He is mainly involved in activities on optical communication systems based on VCSELs.
