Charles (Chad) Edwards, Jr. manages the Advanced Studies Office for NASA's Mars Exploration Program at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In this role leads future mission planning and oversees technology investments aimed at new mission-enabling capabilities. He received an A.B. in Physics from Princeton University and a Ph. D. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology.
