Since its founding, Dr. Zerbini has been the Director of this center and the main investigator in several previous and ongoing studies. His medical-scientific career also includes participation in several medical societies, being a member of the Brazilian Society of Rheumatology, the American College of Rheumatology, the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, the International Osteoporosis Foundation and the American College of Medicine where he most recently received the title of Fellow.

He has appeared in several books and around 200 articles published in scientific journals including the prestigious Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), the Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). Dr. Zerbini is part of the Editorial Board of the following publications: Revista Brasileira de Reumatologia, Osteoporosis International and Journal of Bone and Mineral Research. His medical office is located in the city of São Paulo. He is part of the clinical staff of the Hospitals: Sírio-Libanês, Albert Einstein and 9 de Julho.
