Chemical engineer at ESPOCH, Master in Food Technology and PhD. in Food Science and Technology at USACH.
I have combined electrospinning and atomic layer deposition technologies to obtain new nanostructures with antimicrobial and antiviral activities as well as antimicrobial bilayer nanocomposites. I have also developed an antimicrobial trilayer polymeric film combining the extrusion, electrospinning and coating techniques. I have also evaluated the active properties of native plants of Ecuador
