Teaching: Has been responsible for teaching and program/curricula development of several courses (e.g Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Physiology, Toxicology,...). Co-authored the creation and curricula definition of 1st, Master and PhD Courses (eg Biotechnology-UA, MAP-BioPlant). Elaborated the official Biology Programs for highschool for the Timor-Leste Ministery of Education (2009-2013). From 2013-2014 was consultant for Education&Science Minister for Biology field of National basic programmes. Research expertise and interest: cell and molecular biology and signalling under stress (climate changes, pesticides), or in response to new pathogens; Combination of biotechnoloy tools with functional-genomic approaches (physiology, gene expression, cytomics and metabolomics); Phytocompounds and cell toxicity.
