My current Research interests: conceptual Change, teaching and learning electricity, professional development of physics teachers, language as part of physics teaching and physics teacher education; School books
Methods and Techniques: I am using Design-Based Research in many of my Projects therefore I am using mixed methods approaches
Currently I am working on the development and implemenation of a Curriculum on introductory electricity (year 7 /8 highschool) and teachers orientations on teaching electricity and how they can be modified by implementing new teaching material.
A second project focusing on professional development develops learing environments for teacher students of physics that train their competences to a) diagnose students' conceptions and b) teach speech sensitive.
