Born in Gorizia (Italy) in 1964. Graduated in Dentistry (DDS) and specialized in Oral Surgery (MSc) at the University of Trieste (Italy). Adjunct professor in Oral Implantology at the School of Dentistry and at the Master Program in Oral Surgery at University of Trieste since 2007. Since 2017 he achieved the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as Full Professor. Active founding member and Past President (2017-2019) of the International Piezoelectric Surgery Academy (IPA), active member and President-Elect of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery (SIdCO) and active member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO). Member of the Editorial Board of Biomed Research International, BMC Oral Health, Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Research, Open Dentistry Journal and Sinusitis. Author of more than eighty publications on impacted journals and speaker at international congresses on oral surgery and implantology topics.
