I held a degree in Pharmacy and a Master in Neuroscience from the University of Santiago de Compostela. In 2019 I completed my PhD thesis titled “Optimization of thrombolytic therapy in brain pathology”, which was carried out in the Clinical Neuroscience Research Laboratory of the Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela. I was awarded cum laude and the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. Currently, I continue my postdoc working in the development of different treatments and nanosystems to improve the thrombolytic treatment in the ischemic stroke.
