My research is aimed at understanding health and well-being of older adults and those who take care of them. One aspect of my research examines community life of older adults, finding that subjective assessments of neighborhoods matter for health. Another aspect centers on organizational issues in the delivery of end of life care. Within the study of organizational issues, I also research health care workers' experiences of delivering care for older, vulnerable, frail, and dying adults.
