Chunzhi Cai completed his PhD at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He earned his bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and a master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Chunzhi's research is centered on the study of elements, including nutirent elements and trace/heavy metal contaminants, in food and marine ecosystems.
