2005 – current: Research assistant at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Inspection of Food of Animal Origin, University of Sassari 2004 – PhD in Production, Hygiene and Quality of Food of Animal Origin 2005 - Component of the PhD board in Production, Hygiene and Quality of Animal Food of Origin. 2001 - Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Author and co-author of 64 scientific papers on topics related to food safety and microbiological characteristics of food of animal origin (cheese and dairy, meat and fishery products, prevalence, identification and serotyping of phatogens in cheese-making plants and in sheep cheese, detection of enterotoxins and virulence genes of S. aureus, characterization of meat products, antibiotics resistance, occurrence of aflatoxin M1 in milk and ripened cheese. Research Research activities are focused on food safety and microbiological characteristics of Food of Animal Origin, with regard to dairy, fish and meat products.
