Hély Christelle

Christelle Hély received the French B.S. and M.S. degrees in biology from the University of Rennes I, Rennes Cedex, France, in 1992 and 1994, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in environmental sciences from the University of Quebec, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 2000. From 2000 to 2004, she worked as a Postdoc for the international project SAFARI 2000 at the University of Virginia, and for the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS, laboratory CEREGE). Since 2004, she has been a CNRS Research Scientist with the University of Aix-Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, France. Her research interests are in the areas of ecosystem dynamics and disturbances such as wildfires (from boreal to tropical ecosystems), vegetation modeling, and climate change.
