Chinmayee Govinda Raj

Chinmayee Govinda Raj is a doctoral candidate of Astrobiology and Chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology under Prof Amanda Stockton, and is a Future Investigators in NASA Earth and Space Science and Technology (FINESST) fellow tasked to develop miniature analytical instrumentation for impactor systems for icy ocean worlds. She received her bachelors in Instrumentation Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering, India. She then earned her masters in bioengineering from San Jose State, CA while working at NASA Ames Research Center under Dr. Diana Gentry. She also co-leads work on developing experimental evolution laboratory setups to study microbial adaptation to Europan ocean analog environments.
