Nwafor Chinedu Charles

Broadly, my research interest is in applying genetics and biotechnological tools to improve crop species. Specifically, I use genomic approaches to identify genes and specific regulatory pathways that control essential traits in agronomically important crops. I am also interested in the activities beyond the plant genome, i.e., proteomics and metabolomics, particularly how to understand the role of PTM in the regulatory network of proteins and specific biochemical processes involving metabolites that can shed light on physiological changes in agronomic crops.
