Chih-Feng Yen

Chih-Feng Yen, M.D., Ph.D., graduated from Taipei Medical University (MD) and Graduate Institute of Clinical Medical Sciences of Chang Gung University (Ph.D.), is the Clinical Professor and vice-Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH). He is also a Professor at the National Tsing Hua University School of Medicine, Hsinchu, Taiwan. He was the president of the Taiwan Association for Minimally Invasive Gynecology (TAMIG, 2013-2014). Currently, he serves as the Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE), the Executive Board of Supervision of the Taiwan Endometriosis Society (TES), and one of the Ambassador of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA). Dr. Yen provides clinical expertise in gynecologic endoscopy with successful experiences for thousands of patients with laparoscopic or hysteroscopic operations. His research program focused on adenomyosis, endometriosis, and the molecular and cellular biology of the endometrium. He recently focused on advanced endoscopic techniques, including laparoscopic treatment for deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE), adenomyomectomy, and hysteroscopic treatment for severe uterine cavity synechiae. Dr. Yen was a visiting assistant professor at Yale University School of Medicine (Aug. 2005 – Jul. 2007) and authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers, primarily in the gynecologic endoscopy and reproductive sciences, and has written several textbook chapters. He is currently the Editorial Board member of the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology (JMIG), which is the official Journal of AAGL; and the Managing Editor of Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Therapy (GMIT), the official journal of APAGE; as well as the reviewer of American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Sciences, Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Research, and Taiwanese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
