Chiara Piglione

Chiara Piglione (S'05) was born in Racconigi, Italy, in 1977. She received the degree in telecommunication engineering (summa cum laude) in July 2002. Since January 2003, she has been pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. From August to May 2004, and from July to September 2005, she was Visitor Student at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ. Between October and December 2002, she had a research contract with the Italian National Interuniversity Consortium for Telecommunications (CNIT), Firenze, Italy. Her research interests include the study of multicast traffic, input-queued switches, and all-optical networks.
