We are interested in understanding the genetic control of animal development and the molecular mechanisms involved in tumorigenesis. We utilize molecular genetic approaches in mice to examine how Gli transcription factors are regulated by Hedgehog-dependent and -independent mechanisms, and the function of Iroquois transcription factors in heart and limb development.
