Chen-Yuan Dong

Chen-Yuan Dong was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1966. He received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, under the guidance of E. Gratton in 1998. He then joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow in Peter T. C. So's Laboratory. In 2001, he joined the Department of Physics, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include the development and applications of multiphoton microscopy in biological and biomedical research. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Biomedical Optics.
